To ask the Secretary of State for Justice whether he has any plans to review the release test for those prisoners on indeterminate sentences for imprisonment for public protection who have served their minimum tariff.

There are no current plans to review the release test for prisoners serving sentences of imprisonment for public protection whose minimum term has expired. The National Offender Management Service is using a range of measures to improve the progression of these prisoners in reducing the risk they pose.
