To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many (a) foreign and (b) Commonwealth soldiers have been deported following an unsuccessful application for (i) British citizenship and (ii) leave to remain as a result of unspent criminal convictions in each of the last five years; and if she will make a statement.

The Home Office publishes immigration statistics annually and quarterly, which are available from the Home Office Research and Statistics website.
