In 2011-12 approximately 70% of UK aid to Burma was channelled through UN organisations, 25% through international aid agencies and 5% directly through local community-based organisations. A significant proportion of funds channelled through the UN and international aid agencies are in turn channelled to local community-based organisations to deliver results.
