To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport what estimate her Department has made of the average percentage change in the productivity of the (a) creative industries and (b) tourism industry in each month since May 2010.

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) considers the economic impact of the tourism and creative industries sectors in terms of output and employment, but we do not calculate productivity measures (for either labour or capital). The Office for National Statistics Tourism Satellite Account estimates output and employment for tourism and the DCMS' creative industries economic estimates calculate output and employment for the creative industries.
