To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many and what proportion of the population in Barnsley Central constituency have joined the national organ register.

NHS Blood and Transplant advise that the current number of people on the Organ Donor Register in the constituency of Barnsley Central is 21,537. It is not possible to say with accuracy what percentage of the current population this is as the latest population figure held for Barnsley Central is for 2010.
