To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office how many childcare places his Department provides on its estate; what the cost is of providing such places; how many such places his Department provided in 2010; what the cost was of providing such places in 2010; what plans he has for changes in the provision of such childcare places; and what the number of places will be once any such changes have been implemented.

Child care places are available to all Cabinet Office staff with children.

In 2010 the Cabinet Office subsidised 164 places on the Westminster Play Scheme at a total cost of £2,132.

The Cabinet Office has no plans to change the provisions for the play scheme.
