To ask the Secretary of State for Health what assessment he has made of the implications for his policies on recovered memory therapy of the outcome of the Carol Felstead case.

The Department does not recommend the use of recovered memory therapy and it is not a National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence recommended treatment. No new assessment has been made as a result of this case.
