To ask the Secretary of State for Justice what the highest paid position is in (a) his Department and (b) his Department's agencies.

The highest salary paid position in the Ministry of Justice is the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Justice. In the Department's agencies, the chief executive officer of the National Offender Management Service is the highest paid position in the National Offender Management Service, and the chief executive of Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service is the highest paid position in Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service. The Public Guardian and chief executive of the Office of the Public Guardian is the highest paid position in the Office of the Public Guardian.
