To ask the Secretary of State for Education pursuant to the answer of 3 September 2012, Official Report, column 997W, on electronic communication, whether he or his Department receive an itemised bill in respect of his departmental BlackBerry usage in each month.

I can confirm that neither the Secretary of State for Education nor his Department receive an itemised bill in respect of his departmental BlackBerry usage each month.

The Department pays for collective usage on a monthly basis via a bulk payment facility.
