We continue to press for full Russian compliance with the Sarkozy-Medvedev six-point agreement, including Russian troop withdrawal to pre-2008 positions. By not fully complying with the agreement and by consolidating its military presence in South Ossetia and Abkhazia, Russia is adding to tensions in the region. The UK fully supports Georgia's territorial integrity, and seeks a peaceful resolution of this conflict.
