An assessment of the work of the Welsh Government's anti-human trafficking co-ordinator will be made as part of the first report of the Inter-Departmental Ministerial Group (IDMG) on Human Trafficking, due to be published in October 2012. A national anti-human trafficking co-ordinator will not be appointed in England. The IDMG co-ordinates work on trafficking across the UK and performs the national rapporteur function in compliance with the EU directive on trafficking in human beings.
