To ask Her Majesty's Government what representations they have received regarding the case of Edward Peter Heslehurst; what action they have taken in this case; and what progress they have made towards enabling Mark Heslehurst to have access to his son, now in Cambodia.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is aware of Mr Heslehurst's case and Mr Heslehurst has been in contact with FCO officials both in London and the USA where he previously lived. I appreciate the difficult circumstances Mr Heslehurst is facing and sympathise with his distress in being separated from his son Edward.

Cambodia is not a signatory to the 1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. Therefore there are no international agreements in place to ensure the return of Mr Heslehurst's son to the UK, for custody to be decided here. The British Government are unable to interfere in legal proceedings in Cambodia or in any other country. The FCO has provided Mr Heslehurst with appropriate consular advice and assistance.

Hello, I would like all your Government Officials to know that Mr. Heslehurst is not correct with the statement about Biomerieux paying the police (Durham County Sheriff) 45,000 USD at all. As a matter of fact in his own writings we have documented proof he even changes this figure from time time time.
Mr. Heslehurst is correct in his statement that there is no legal issue here. His child was not abducted. His wife has offered on several occasions to bring his child to the UK to visit and stay with Mark. Mr. Heslehurst has refused however to let this happen as it would expose his fraud to the US and UK people. Mr. Heslehurst also fails to mention that he received many donations which he refuses to disclose for a walk in the United States. The walk never took place but what did take place was a two week beach vacation in Florida.
Now I ask, when will our Government investigate one of the biggest scandals against our people?

Can I ask the post from peter Johnson who i believe does not really exist to be removed, however to correct a few points on his vindictive and uneducated rant.
1,NC sheriffs department informed me from one sheriff Biomerieux had paid $30 000 and another sheriff $40 000 to their department to watch me -rather than engage a lawyer .So they were paid to watch me .As stated by the F O themselves my son was adbducted and against the UK high court ruling made in 2008 during my fight under the hague convention. The fraud squad are currently investigating compliants made against me for fraud and will soon have finished their investigation and show absolutely no foundation to the complaint , as I have shown them I have in fact paid 95% of my own campaign-the same department are also investigating a very serious hate campaign against me led by a local councillor (I am sure Teesside police will confirm the above and give names ) you will find I am sure this Johnson is one of the people attacking me if he exists which I very much doubt-Mark Heslehurst.
