To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland what the lowest hourly rate paid to staff by his Department is; how many members of staff based outside London are paid less than £7.20 per hour; and how many members of staff based in London are paid less than £8.30 per hour.

All staff in the Scotland Office are on secondment from other Government bodies. It reimburses those bodies for the costs involved. The Office does not maintain a record of the hourly pay for staff; such information is the responsibility of the parent bodies.
