To ask the Secretary of State for Health what the average number of working days lost was per person in (a) his Department and (b) each of its agencies in each of the last three years.

The average numbers of days lost to sickness in each of the last three calendar years in the Department (DH) and its agency, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) are shown in the following table.
