To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what the budget is for the Natural Capital Committee in financial year 2012-13.

In 2012-13, the Natural Capital Committee has a budget of up to approximately £400,000, including administrative costs and research and development (R&D). From 2013-14 onwards, the budget is expected to increase to over £500,000, reflecting an increase in R&D activities.
