To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change whether he plans to announce the recommendations of his Electricity Demand Reduction Project before the summer recess.

In the July 2011 White Paper, “Planning our electric future: a White Paper for secure, affordable and low-carbon electricity”, DECC committed to undertake an assessment by summer 2012 to determine whether DECC should take further steps to improve the support and incentives for the efficient use of electricity.

This assessment is nearing completion and will be published shortly.
