Subject to contract award, the fleet of trains being procured for Thameslink will be maintained at a new train maintenance facility to be constructed on Coronation Sidings adjacent to the existing train maintenance facility at Hornsey. The existing Hornsey depot will continue to be used to maintain non-Thameslink mainline and other Great Northern commuter and suburban services following the introduction of the Thameslink contract.
