To ask the Secretary of State for Education how many complaints against academies and free schools have been upheld, in full or part, by (a) his Department and (b) the Education Funding Agency.

At present the (a) Department does not hold these data centrally and (b) the Education Funding Agency was created on 1 April 2012. In the future the Department will be providing this information to the Education Select Committee in an annual report.
