To ask the Secretary of State for Education what training has been undertaken by (a) Ministers and (b) officials in his Department to assist them in assessing complaints against schools.

Ministers considering complaints against schools have been advised on individual cases. Officials considering school complaints receive training relevant to their policy area. Officials dedicated to handling complaints are either already trained or are receiving a broad range of complaint-related training.
