The UK is a strong supporter of free trade and investment. We have a very effective policy of promoting UK exports including through the work of UK Trade and Investment (UKTI), which provides information and advice to businesses about trading internationally and investing in the UK. Further detail on our strategy for securing the benefits of trade is set out in the trade and investment White Paper which can be viewed at: http://www.bis.gov.uk/assets/biscore/international-trade-investment-and-development/docs/t/11-717-trade-investment-for-growth.pdf
