To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many loans have been (a) offered and (b) taken up by businesses under the National Loan Guarantee Scheme since its launch.

Over 10,000 loans have been offered to businesses under the National Loan Guarantee Scheme in the first three months since its launch. The Government are in the process of appointing an auditor for the NLGS and will report in due course.
