To ask the Secretary of State for Education what recent assessment he has made of the effect of public examinations on educational achievement in Lincolnshire.

We publish detailed information on trends in GCSEs results in England providing both summary statistics and statistics on individual subjects in our annual Statistical First Release, “GCSE and Equivalent Results in England”, which is available at the following link:

Tables 17 and 19 provide time series for key indicators at local authority level and include Lincolnshire.
