To ask Her Majesty's Government what payments were made by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport to (1) Clifford Chance, (2) Freshfields, (3) Slaughter and May, (4) Allen and Overy, and (5) Linklaters, in (a) 2008-09, (b) 2009-10, (c) 2010-11, and (d) 2011-12; and to what those payments related.

Only one of these firms, Linklaters, was used by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport during the requested period. The amounts paid per year are shown in the table below. The fees were paid for professional advice in connection with an asset sale.
