To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department on how many occasions in each year since 2010 a competent authority in the UK has (a) contacted and (b) been contacted by the competent authority in another EU member state regarding the belief that a parallel set of criminal proceedings is being conducted under Article 5 of EU Council Framework Decision 2009/948/JHA; and on how many occasions in each year it was necessary to refer the matter to Eurojust under Article 12(2) of the Decision.

I have been asked to reply on behalf of the Ministry of Justice.

None. The Framework Decision has not yet been implemented.
