To ask the hon. Member for Banbury, representing the Church Commissioners, what the cost of metal theft from Church of England property was in (a) Rochester diocese and (b) Southwark diocese in (i) 2010 and (ii) 2011.

The following table shows the value and amount of metal thefts from Church of England property in the diocese of Rochester and Southwark in 2010, 2011 and 2012. As a comparison, the national figure for all Church of England buildings is also included for reference.
