The Special Investigation and Prosecution Team continues to make good progress. 13 people have been charged with corruption, conspiracy to defraud and money laundering (including four former Ministers). In each case the Turks and Caicos Islands Supreme Court has ruled that there is sufficient evidence for the matter to go to trial. A Plea and Directions hearing will take place in the Supreme Court on 10 July.

The Chief Magistrate of the Turks and Caicos Islands has issued an arrest warrant for the former Premier, Michael Misick, and a ‘Red Notice’ has been issued by Interpol.
