We enjoy good diplomatic relations with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Our embassy in Kinshasa has enjoyed a number of positive meetings with the new Government Ministers and engages regularly with the Government of DRC on a range of issues. Britain is a major bilateral donor to DRC and the Secretary of State for International Development, my right hon. Friend Mr Mitchell, visited DRC in March.
