To ask the Secretary of State for Education what steps he is taking to support the provision of special educational needs pupil places in small rural secondary schools.

In our Green Paper, ‘Support and aspiration: A new approach to special educational needs and disability’, and the follow up document, ‘Progress and next steps’, we set out our ambitious plans to reform radically provision for children with special educational needs (SEN) and disabled children. These reforms will benefit all children with SEN, including those in rural schools.
