To ask the Secretary of State for Education pursuant to the answer of 11 June 2012, Official Report, columns 381-82W, on official visits: Israel, what discussions he or his Department had with (a) the Israeli embassy in the UK, (b) the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, (c) Mr Lieberman's office and (d) the Britain-Israel Communications and Research Centre on the possibility of his meeting Mr Lieberman during his recent visit to the UK.

The Department for Education had discussions with officials at the Israeli embassy in the UK about the possibility of arranging a meeting with Mr Lieberman during his recent visit to the UK. No discussions took place with any other organisation.
