Daily running costs for the Leveson inquiry are not kept. However, details of the inquiry's expenditure by quarter are published regularly on its website. The total cost for part 1 of the Leveson inquiry from start-up in July 2011 is currently projected to be about £5.6 million. This is being jointly funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the Home Office.
