The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has had no recent discussions with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) on the health and safety of agricultural workers. Health and Safety in the agriculture industry is a matter for HSE.

However, I promised the hon. Gentleman that I would speak with the Health and Safety Executive following the recent debate on agricultural employment. My officials are in the process of arranging a meeting.
