This Government are determined to tackle tax avoidance and evasion, to ensure that everyone pays their fair share of tax. Our reinvestment of over £900 million into HMRC demonstrates this and will bring in additional revenue of £7 billion a year by 2014-15.

We have announced immediate action to close down seven avoidance schemes in the past year and recently published our consultation on introducing a General Anti-Abuse Rule in 2013.
