To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport what plans his Department has for the expected London 2012 Olympics budget underspend.

Any underspend will be shared between the National Lottery, the Government and the Greater London Authority, as funders of the £9.3 billion Public Sector Funding Package for the Games. In addition, the National Lottery is entitled to receive £675 million from receipts from the sale of land in the Olympic Park after the Games.
