To ask Her Majesty's Government to detail the terms on which they have let the contract to enable the MV "Claymore II" to provide shipping services to Pitcairn.

The contract for shipping services to Pitcairn was signed between the Government of Pitcairn and the owners of the MV "Claymore II", Stoney Creek Shipping Company Ltd, on 20 August 2009 after a competitive tender process. The service is subsidised by the British Government and provides for eight sailings a year between Pitcairn and Mangareva carrying passengers and cargo.
