Environment Food and Rural Affairs written question – answered at on 11 June 2012.
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs if she will list the empty or largely empty buildings owned by her Department; and if she will make a statement.
The Department's core property holdings include core DEFRA, the Executive agencies and Natural England's administrative office estate. Within this overall estate, there are three sites owned by the Department defined as vacant or largely vacant—Coley Park in Reading, Quantock House in Taunton and Agricola House in Penrith.
The Department is undertaking disposal action on all sites as they are surplus to business need.
