The Department's core property holdings include core DEFRA, the Executive agencies and Natural England's administrative office estate. Within this overall estate, there are three sites owned by the Department defined as vacant or largely vacant—Coley Park in Reading, Quantock House in Taunton and Agricola House in Penrith.

The Department is undertaking disposal action on all sites as they are surplus to business need.
