To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many appeals her Department has made to an information tribunal contesting a decision notice of the Information Commissioner in the last 12 months.

Since 14 March 2011 the Home Office has made three appeals to the First-tier Tribunal (Information Rights). Two of these were in respect of the same information, which was the subject of two separate requests.
