To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many regulations his Department introduced between 1 June 2011 and 31 January 2012; and at what cost to the public purse.

The Department introduced 37 regulations between 1 June 2011 and 31 January 2012. A list of the titles of these regulations has been placed in the Library.

Information on the likely costs to the public purse resulting from all regulations introduced is not held centrally, and could be provided only at disproportionate cost to the Department.
