To ask the Secretary of State for Justice how many individuals were convicted of breaching sanctions on Iran in each of the last five years.
Data are not collated centrally on persons proceeded against under current legislation specifically related to sanctions on Iran. Other than where specified in a statute, centrally held information does not include all the circumstances of each case and from information on proceedings for offences of, for example, the illegal export of goods, it is not possible to identify the country of destination.
