It is for local authorities to decide how to make best use of their assets, including the relative benefits and costs of holding assets, and the disposal of under-utilised assets. They are best placed to know what is most appropriate for their local area in a way that central Government cannot.

We have been working with a number of local authorities to look at all public land and buildings in their area which has shown potential 20% savings, significant opportunities for growth and improved outcomes for residents.
