To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills how many applications had been submitted from home students through UCAS by 15 January 2012 to (a) Russell Group universities, (b) 1994 Group universities and (c) all other higher education institutions; and how many such applications had been submitted by the equivalent date in the previous admissions cycle.
