Home Department written question – answered at on 7 February 2012.
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether any evidence was received by the independent review of the UK's extradition arrangements that the Government plans not to publish; and on what grounds such non-disclosure would be made.
The Secretary of State for the Home Department, my right hon. Friend Mrs May, is currently considering the recommendations of the review panel and the Government will announce what action they intend to take in response to the review in due course.
Publication of the written and oral evidence received by the extradition review panel will be subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Data Protection Act 1998.
