To ask Her Majesty's Government whether, in the light of the introduction of the free school programme, they considered the option of schools which would be partly dependent on parent payments, with the balance being funded by the state.
No. Our reforms, through academies and the introduction of free schools, build on the guiding principle that high quality, free education should be available to all irrespective of parents' ability to pay.
