To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills what estimate he has made of the total amount of land in England which is unregistered (a) in hectares and (b) as a proportion of the total land mass; and if he will make a statement.

The total amount of land in England that is unregistered is 2,711,622 hectares. The total percentage of unregistered land in England is 20.4%.
