To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what plans she has to increase the number of stations on the London Liverpool Street to Enfield Town line with ticketing barriers; and if she will make a statement.

The Secretary of State for Transport, Justine Greening, has no plans to increase the number of stations on the London Liverpool Street to Enfield Town line with ticketing barriers. This is a matter for the train operator if a business case to install gates can be made.

Secretary of State

Secretary of State was originally the title given to the two officials who conducted the Royal Correspondence under Elizabeth I. Now it is the title held by some of the more important Government Ministers, for example the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs.
