To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many war pensions were paid to nuclear test veterans in each of the last six years.
The information requested could be provided only at disproportionate cost. The war pensions computer system does not have the facility to uniquely identify people who participated in nuclear tests and who receive a war disablement pension.
Compensation in the form of a war disablement pension is available to all former members of HM forces who suffer disablement which is attributable to service prior to
