To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they will place in the Library of the House a copy of the draft protocol on financial regulation and other matters for which the Prime Minister sought acceptance at the European Council on 8-9 December.

The Prime Minister, my right honourable friend Mr Cameron in his post-European Council statement has explained that the safeguards the UK proposed were modest, reasonable and relevant. (http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/news/latest-news/?view=PressS&id=704961082.) The Government do not publish informal draft texts proposed during the course of negotiations.
