To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, pursuant to the answer of 9 November 2011, Official Report, column 394W, on reoffenders, what plans he has to compare reoffending rates for offenders involved in the Intensive Alternative to Custody pilots with reoffending rates for similar offenders receiving custodial sentences of less than 12 months.

I refer the hon. Member to the reply given on 9 November 2011, Hansard, column 394W and the answer given today to PQ 86485. The MOJ is still looking at the feasibility of conducting an evaluation of the IAC pilots to compare reoffending rates for IAC offenders with reoffending rates for similar offenders receiving custodial sentences of less than 12 months.
