To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport what assessment he has made of the findings of the International Olympic Committee investigation into corruption within FIFA; and if he will make a statement.

The Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport, my right hon. Friend Mr Hunt, and I are aware of the recent action that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board has taken following the IOC Ethics Committee's investigation of cash payments received by two IOC members from a sports marketing agency. I applaud the IOC for its efforts in this area. We are also aware that one of those members is a standing FIFA committee member and urge FIFA to deliver on the reform process announced earlier this year.
