To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office what rules govern the (a) declaration and (b) recording of meetings held by senior civil servants.

Meetings are recorded in accordance with departmental procedures on record keeping. The National Archives also produces “Guidance on the Management of Private Office Papers” which can be accessed at:
