To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government what account his Department took of population variations between local authority areas in determining allocation of the New Homes Bonus.

The New Homes Bonus is based on the number of additional homes and those brought back into use, with a premium for affordable homes. Through the bonus, local authority areas which are growing in population will have more resources to meet the needs and aspirations of new and existing residents.
